The League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) 2021 Spring kicks off on Wednesday (January 13) with two exciting bouts, featuring three of the top-four outright favourites to hoist the trophy in April. Our LoL betting expert has provided us with his insight of the games with best bets and odds courtesy of the top esports betting sites.

GEN.G vs KT ROLSTER LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Despite all the upgrades KT Rolster made during the offseason, they still seem weaker than Gen.G, who are in our book one of the top-three teams in the region. This team fields some of the best players in their respective roles including top laner Kim “Rascal” Kwang-hee and jungler Kim “Clid” Tae-min, and there are even arguments to be made Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk is currently the best ADC in the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK).

We have no issues ranking Gen.G above KT Rolster, but this is the opening fixture of the split, meaning a more open affair and a bit shakier display from both sides is likely on the cards. We don’t expect Gen.G to lose, but we also don’t believe they can manage a clean sweep.

T1 vs HANWHA LIFE ESPORTS LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

This just might be one of the strongest versions of Hanwha Life Esports we have seen since their debut in the LCK, with the signing of two ex-DRX players in ADC Kim “Deft” Hyuk-kyu and Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon. The Korean duo are not only two of the best players in their roles, but also bring a strong mid-bot synergy which is a crucial part of any top-tier team.

Outside of the reigning LoL world champions DWG KIA (formerly DAMWON Gaming), T1 field the most stacked lineup in the region, but that does not necessarily guarantee them success. Individually, T1 are stronger than Hanwha Life, but the difference is not nearly as big as the esports betting odds suggest.

At $3.25, HLA are underrated and should be considered as a great longshot bet.
