LEC Summer betting predictions for August 3 include Shifters and Team Heretics backed to take maps as underdogs.

League of Legends EMEA Championship 2026 Summer Week 2 comes to an end on Monday, August 3, when Natus Vincere clash with Shifters, followed by a meeting between Team Heretics and Karmine Corp.

Natus Vincere have not made any roster changes for LEC Summer, which adds some continuity.
However, even with this advantage, they failed to start the split with a win, as NAVI had to admit defeat to Karmine Corp on Saturday.
The game could have ended differently had Natus Vincere not choked on both maps. They were in excellent positions to close it out, but struggled to find openings, which has been the case with this team for the entire season.
Shifters started their summer split with a 1-2 loss against Movistar KOI, which was a solid outcome for the new-look roster.
With Théo “Sheo” Borile as a new jungler and Paul “Stend” Lardin as a new support, Shifters do not appear significantly stronger, but given their performance in spring, any change is a good one.
Qualitatively, Natus Vincere are stronger, but their poor closing rate is a concern and a big reason why backing the favourites to sweep is not a wise choice.
The best LoL bookmakers have Shifters priced at -175.44 to take a map, which is worth a look.
Shifters +1.5 maps
Karmine Corp have not made any roster changes ahead of LEC Summer, and this move paid off.
They are 4-0 ahead of their second match of Week 2, having already beaten Team Vitality, Movistar KOI, G2 Esports, and Natus Vincere, dropping just one map in the process against G2.
As one of the best teams of LEC Spring, Karmine Corp are now on cruise control. However, as dominant as their record might seem, KC should have lost at least one map against Natus Vincere, and they would have had NAVI been better at closing out maps.
On the other side, KC are great from a deficit.
Team Heretics have switched out their coaching staff for LEC Summer and brought in ADC Byeon “Hype” Jeong-hyeon. Even with these exciting changes, Heretics lost against Team Vitality 0-2 in their first match of the split.
The 0-2 loss, however, does not show the whole picture, as Team Heretics were in a fine spot to take at least one map. Hype, in particular, had an excellent debut, proving he can play the mage meta, which is not something to take lightly.
Heretics are not a bad team, but they are also not great. This explains why they will carry a +450 price tag into Monday’s game.
While this is KC’s game to lose, it is hard to pass on Team Heretics to take a map at plus money.
Team Heretics +1.5 maps
