KT Rolster’s eight-game winning streak finally came to an end on Wednesday, when they fell to Hanwha Life Esports. The result was not all that shocking, given some of the flaws that have followed KT even during their excellent run.
KT prefer to play slowly and scale into the later stages. That approach has worked well for them so far, but as teams get a better read on the meta, more tempo-focused opponents are starting to find ways to punish them.
HAJIN BRION are not exactly the kind of fast-paced team that naturally counters KT, and they have struggled against stronger opposition this split. Still, their 2-7 record does not tell the full story, as BRION have played a few much better maps than the standings suggest.
They are also coming off an excellent performance against DN SOOPers, which should give them some confidence heading into this tougher assignment. An outright upset is still a stretch, but with KT coming off their first loss and BRION showing signs of life, the underdogs taking a map looks like a strong value angle.

BNK FEARX are priced as -188.68 favourites on the best LoL bookmakers, and that looks like a generous enough number given the matchup.
There is not much separating these two teams in the standings. DN SOOPers sit at 1-8, while BNK FEARX are only one win ahead at 2-7. The difference is that FEARX have at least shown they can push stronger teams, including their recent competitive showing against Dplus KIA.
The player trade between BNK FEARX and Nongshim RedForce adds a bit of uncertainty, but Kim “Taeyoon” Tae-yoon is not a bad player and should not make this team worse. FEARX are weaker than they were during the LCK Cup, but they still have enough quality to handle a DN SOOPers side that has offered very little this split.
This is not a matchup where FEARX need to be perfect. They just need to be cleaner than a DNS lineup that has consistently struggled to turn early moments into wins. At the current price, BNK FEARX are the right side.
