Hanwha Life Esports’ 11-game winning streak got snapped in half on Thursday, when they got reverse-swept by
KT Rolster. While HLE dominated the first map, they could not keep up in the final two.
Hanwha Life Esports have been showing some cracks recently, mainly due to them being too confident and
opting for riskier plays. However, Park “Viper” Do-hyeon and co. also had the misfortune of facing in-form KT
Rolster, which played a role in the upset loss.
Despite the defeat, Hanwha Life Esports should not be in any real danger of losing against DN Freecs, who only
recently won their first match of the split. Even that was due to Nongshim RedForce’s shocking display on the
day. This is a perfect opportunity for Hanwha Life Esports to bounce back.

T1 enter this match off a 2-1 victory against OKSavingsBank BRION, which was a very competitive affair across
all three maps. T1 showed their willingness to play more controlled-style compositions rather than high-tempo,
which works in the current meta, but can be tricky to execute against more aggressive squads.
Gen.G have been rolling through the split, keeping their perfect record alive without major issues. They rank first
in the LCK across all important metrics, which includes a +3199 gold difference at 20 minutes and an
outstanding 74.1% Baron Control.
Talent-wise, T1 are comparable to Gen.G, but they seem to be still figuring out their new style of play, which is not
ideal against how Gen.G like to play.
