Hanwha Life Esports went 1-1 last week with a 0-2 loss against Gen.G and a 2-0 sweep of OKSavingsBank BRION. Against Gen.G, Hanwha showed they’re not afraid to scrap, which was a nice change from a team that has been fairly passive for most of the split.
Hanwha Life Esports rely mostly on their opponents making mistakes, which explains why they don’t do well against the top few teams in the LCK. But by design, HLE should beat a mid-table team like Kwangdong Freecs.
Kwangdong Freecs lost both of their series against T1 and DRX last week, continuing their streak of questionable results. However, KDF are still a capable team and able to take charge when given the opportunity. Since Hanwha Life Esports tend to be passive, Kwangdong Freecs could do some serious damage on Wednesday.

Dplus KIA have looked good against weaker teams this split but not great against the top few. While they are on a seven-game winning streak, those results came against FearX (twice), Nongshim RedForce, KT Rolster, OKSavingsBank BRION, and DRX (twice) — all teams in the bottom six at the moment.
T1 suffered a huge defeat against Gen.G on Saturday, losing both maps convincingly. Despite that result, T1 are expected to defeat Dplus KIA for the second time, but we can’t ignore the momentum Dplus have gained.
T1 are the better team, but having them priced at -625 with the top LoL betting sites is a bit too optimistic. Dplus KIA have enough talent to compete against anyone in the league, and at even money, they’re an excellent bet to win at least one map.
