KT Rolster and Gen.G Esports are set to cross swords on Saturday, September 27, in the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) 2025 Playoffs lower bracket final. It is a rematch from the second round, when KT Rolster pulled off a 3-2 upset victory.

Gen.G enter the game following a dramatic triumph against T1 on Sunday, when they edged out a win on map five. ADC Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk played a key role in Gen.G’s eventual victory, although his bottom lane duo, Joo “Duro” Min-kyu, was the unsung hero of the day, with strong lane performances and crucial engages.

Despite the close victory, Gen.G played better than they did in their 2-3 loss against KT Rolster two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, KT Rolster’s only game since ended in a 0-3 defeat against Hanwha Life Esports. It was a one-sided beatdown from Hanwha Life Esports.

While KT Rolster kept the second map close, HLE seemed to be in full control of the series from start to finish and never found themselves in any notable gold deficit.

Seeing KT Rolster lose to HLE does not inspire much confidence ahead of their rematch with Gen.G, who are -833.33 favorites on the top LoL betting sites. That is not too shocking, as KT’s last victory is considered a fluke.

While this may not be entirely true, KT Rolster rely a lot on mid laner Gwak “Bdd” Bo-sung and jungler Mun “Cuzz” U-chan, and without the duo playing at their best, KT will struggle. Meanwhile, Gen.G have a full lineup of players who can take over the game and a lot more tools to find success.

Last time out, all but the first map scored high with 21, 31, 26, 29, and 35 kills. While KT Rolster failed to secure many kills in their loss to Hanwha Life Esports (5, 6, and 10), they are one of the bloodier teams in LCK, averaging just under 30 kills/game.

The kill total is set at 27.5 kills, which is an inviting number. Unless Gen.G run over KT, 28 kills should be easily achievable.

Over 27.5 kills
