Sixteen world-class Counter-Strike 2 teams head to China for Intel Extreme Masters Beijing 2026, the next big stop on the competitive calendar.

Kicking off on Monday, November 2, Intel Extreme Masters Beijing 2026 marks the next Tier-1 LAN Counter-Strike 2 esports tournament, with a mouth-watering US$1,250,000 prize pool.

Intel Extreme Masters Beijing 2026 Teams to Watch

MOUZ

MOUZ head to China following a bittersweet third-place finish at PGL Masters Bucharest, where they showed strong form early, before running out of steam in the playoffs. Despite settling for the lowest position on the podium in Romania, MOUZ remain a threat for the Intel Extreme Masters Beijing title as one of the most consistent tier-1 teams in the scene.

MOUZ have been ramping up of late as they have placed top-three in all but two of the last five big events. The streak of deep runs stretches back to May, when they secured bronze medals from PGL Astana and CS Asia Championship.

As one of the most reliable performers, MOUZ are hard to ignore, and rightly hold the tag as the team to watch at Intel Extreme Masters Beijing.

FURIA

FURIA will chase their third big trophy in China, after a sudden resurgence in October led them to titles at Thunderpick World Championship and PGL Masters Bucharest.

FURIA have long been viewed as potent dark horses and a team who can be hard to stop once they find their rhythm. And as they proved this month, FURIA have done just that, taking on the world’s elite teams in Romania and Malta.

The big question with FURIA, however, is whether they can keep playing at this pace for longer or whether their recent title runs were nothing more than a fluke.

Team Falcons

Team Falcons return to the arena after a two-week break, having played their last match during the Thunderpick World Championship, where they lost the third-place decider to Aurora Gaming.

Prior to their TP World Championship campaign, Team Falcons placed fifth-eighth at ESL Pro League Season 24 and top-four at BLAST Open Fall. While solid results, they are below expectations for the reigning Major champions, who have once more found themselves in a situation where Falcons have to prove they “still got it” against elite rosters.

Aurora Gaming

Aurora Gaming are one of the dark horses to win Intel Extreme Masters Beijing, having been showing excellent form of late. They placed second at StarLadder StarSeries Fall in September, and have since secured bronze medals at ESL Pro League Season 24 and Thunderpick World Championship, which is solid proof that Aurora can deliver at the highest level.

BetBoom Team

BetBoom Team have had a quiet season, but they have recently started to make noise, with a semifinal run at FISSURE Playground #2, a silver medal at Thunderpick World Championship, and a quarterfinal run at PGL Masters Bucharest.

BB Team have been finding some success of late, beating even the likes of Team Spirit, Natus Vincere, PARIVISION, and Team Falcons. But they have struggled against FURIA, who appear to be their main threat.

Having shown high-level performances at the top level, BB Team are not to be completely counted out. But they do have more to prove.

Natus Vincere

Natus Vincere are a bit of an enigma ahead of Intel Extreme Masters Beijing, having been struggling to find any traction in recent months. They exited ESL Pro League Season 24 in ninth-11th place, and after showing some signs of life in Romania early, they ended up crashing out of PGL Masters Bucharest in fifth-to-eighth.

In Romania, NAVI have beaten both FURIA and Team Spirit, which is a promising sign. But given their lack of consistency, Natus Vincere will have to prove more before they can be viewed as a threat to win Intel Extreme Masters Beijing.

Intel Extreme Masters Beijing 2026 Predictions

Outright Bet – MOUZ to Win

MOUZ have won big events this year, and they have been in good shape for a while now. With excellent players and a strong coaching staff, MOUZ has an elite roster that will always be expected to win big tournaments, and Intel Extreme Masters Beijing is no exception.

Their failure to win PGL Masters Bucharest should be taken with a grain of salt, as they had the misfortune of running into the surging FURIA. However, this is still the most consistent team in the upper echelons of competitive CS2, with a deep map pool for best-of-fives, and they are very difficult to doubt.

Outsider Bet – FURIA to Reach Final

FURIA have been ramping up of late and travel to Beijing with two consecutive trophies in their pockets. Over that stretch, they’ve dealt with elite rosters and have shown the ability to deliver against weaker opposition, which is a huge plus for the Intel Extreme Masters Beijing format.

They have beaten stronger teams than most who will be present at Intel Extreme Masters Beijing, and while it remains to be seen whether FURIA can keep playing at this level for one more week, they have momentum on their side. This is a quality roster, who can make another deep tournament run.
