MOUZ defeat The MongolZ 3-0 to claim the IEM Beijing 2026 title, securing their second S-Tier tournament victory of the year.

MOUZ won the Intel Extreme Masters Beijing 2026 title on Sunday, November 8, with a dominant 3-0 sweep of The MongolZ.
By winning IEM Beijing, MOUZ have secured their second S-Tier tournament title of the year, the first since BLAST Bounty Summer 2026. Their success on Sunday, however, comes as no surprise, given MOUZ’s dominant performances in the event.
MOUZ entered IEM Beijing as one of the leading title contenders, and they’ve shown nothing to suggest otherwise.
The European squad cruised through Group B with 2-0 sweeps of TYLOO, BetBoom Team, and PARIVISION. In the playoffs, things have looked just as easy for MOUZ, who added their second sweep of BetBoom Team in the semifinals.
Having sailed their way onto the big stage, MOUZ earned the tag of firm favorites to defeat MongolZ. And they delivered.
The IEM Beijing grand final started on Mirage, where MongolZ showed some fight and took an early lead. However, MOUZ quickly took over the tempo and closed out the first half 8-4 ahead.
The second half was just as one-sided, with MOUZ keeping their wheels spinning and closing out the map with 13-5, allowing MongolZ only one round on T-Side.
The series continued on Dust2. MOUZ took an early lead with 6-1, but MongolZ struck back to even the score at 6-6 before the switch. But as on the first map, MOUZ proved more efficient in the second half, winning the remaining seven rounds to lock in another dominant map victory at 13-6.
With their backs against the wall, MongolZ entered Inferno with a point to prove. But like on the first two maps of the grand finals, MongolZ failed to find any traction against the in-form MOUZ, who dominated the first half and secured a 9-3 lead before the switch.
The final half of the map offered no surprises, with MOUZ winning four of the remaining five rounds and closing out Inferno 13-4.
MOUZ won the Intel Extreme Beijing grand finals with 13-5, 13-6, and 13-4, allowing only 15 rounds across the best-of-five series. In doing so, they’ve produced one of the most dominant grand final victories in S-Tier tournaments history.
MOUZ now has just three days to prepare for the next competitive endeavor, BLAST Rivals Fall, set to begin on November 11.
There, they’ll face Team Spirit, Legacy, Team Vitality, G2 Esports, Team Falcons, FURIA, and FUT Esports, in a race for the trophy and a share of the US$1,000,000 prize pool.
According to the best CS2 bookmakers, MOUZ are $5.50 outsiders to win the event, behind Team Spirit at $5.00 and Team Vitality at $3.25.
