Hanwha Life Esports and T1 will face off on Friday, June 12, in Round 3 of League of Legends Champions Korea 2026 Road to MSI, where both Mid-Season Invitational and Esports World Cup invites will be on the line.

This is the third clash between the two Korean titans, who have already met twice in LCK Rounds 1-2. The first game ended in a 2-0 sweep for T1, but HLE got their revenge in Week 5, when they edged past the reigning world champions 2-1.

Their most recent meeting was a very competitive game with high-level performances from both teams. Since then, both T1 and Hanwha Life Esports have continued to deliver promising showings, and both sides have been improving.

Despite the improvements and their regular season title, Hanwha Life Esports have somewhat retained their tag as a team prone to errors in the mid-to-late game, where overextensions and questionable decisions can still creep in.

T1 have not been flawless either. They have looked shaky at times towards the end of the regular season and secured some games they probably should not have won, most notably their victory over KT Rolster.

Neither team is firing on all cylinders yet, but both have shown signs of greatness. The difference is that Hanwha Life Esports are more prone to macro mistakes, while T1 are more likely to have slow starts. Of those two issues, the latter has not been as damaging.

Considering T1 tend to do a much better job preparing for specific opponents and are known to step it up in the playoffs, they look like the more inviting pick at even-money odds.
