Carolina Royal Ravens have a tough task ahead as they take on the league’s hottest team, the Los Angeles Thieves.
LA Thieves enter the final week of the qualifiers on a six-game winning streak. They recently won the CDL Stage 3 Minor with a perfect 3-0 run and have yet to drop a match in the qualifiers, showing very promising form over that stretch.
Carolina Royal Ravens had a rough start to the stage, but they showed some improvement last week when they took FaZe Vegas to five maps before beating Cloud9 New York 3-1.
That is at least a step in the right direction, but it does not change the bigger picture. The Royal Ravens are still not at the level of the Los Angeles Thieves, who have been sharper, more consistent, and much more clinical across the stage.
Carolina might be waking up, but this is a difficult matchup against a team that has been rolling. LA Thieves should be able to keep their momentum going with another clean win.

OpTic Texas and FaZe Vegas have met four times this season, with each team winning two clashes. Despite that even head-to-head record, the latest odds have OpTic listed as clear favourites.
That number does not feel quite right. OpTic are 3-0 this stage and have been playing well, but the same can be said for FaZe, who have also shown enough to suggest they can push Texas again.
FaZe can be less efficient on respawns when playing online, but it is still hard to justify seeing them priced as +150 outsiders on the best CoD bookmakers.
This matchup is much closer than the odds suggest. FaZe are good enough in Search & Destroy and Overload to cause problems for OpTic, as they have already shown earlier this season.
At plus money, FaZe Vegas are a solid pick in what should be one of the tighter matches of the day.

G2 Minnesota are expected to hand Boston Breach their fifth loss of CDL Stage 3 Major Qualifiers, but this might be trickier than the odds suggest.
Boston Breach have yet to taste victory this stage and have managed only four maps. That record looks poor, but their schedule has been brutal, with matches against FaZe Vegas, Toronto KOI, OpTic Texas, and Paris Gentle Mates.
Despite facing four of the league’s top teams, Boston still managed to leave a mark by taking one map off OpTic and two off Gentle Mates. That suggests they are more competitive than their record alone indicates.
G2 Minnesota sit at 1-2, which is hardly a massive upgrade. Their upset win over Miami Heretics last week was impressive, but it does not suddenly make them a team that should be this short against a Breach side that has been tested by a much tougher run.
At +275, Boston Breach are a very interesting longshot bet.

Riyadh Falcons are given a 93.5% implied probability of beating Cloud9 New York on Saturday. Considering C9NY’s form this season, that number is not too hard to understand.
Cloud9 New York have put together only two victories with their new roster and are currently on a seven-game losing streak. That alone makes it difficult to build a strong case for them to beat anyone, let alone a Falcons side with much more quality.
Still, Cloud9 do have a few minor strengths. They are perfect on Search & Destroy across Colossus, Exposure, and Fringe, and have also done reasonably well on Scar and Raid. Overload has been less reliable, although Exposure has given them at least some success.
The bigger issue is Hardpoint, where Cloud9 remain winless. That makes it very hard to see them taking the series, but they can still challenge Falcons in Search & Destroy and potentially steal an Overload if the map pool breaks their way.
Riyadh Falcons should win, but Cloud9 New York taking one map is not out of the question. The underdog map handicap is the better play than the short favourite.
