MOVISTAR KOI vs T1
No odds available.
Movistar KOI have far exceeded expectations at LoL Worlds, with clear victories against Bilibili Gaming and CTBC Flying Oyster. Even their 0-2 defeat against Dplus KIA was not a terrible showing, even though DK dominated the second map.
MKOI have looked much more stable this event than what they’ve shown throughout the season, with solid macro, great early game, and a far less volatile and risky approach to games.
T1, on the other hand, have been underwhelming by their standards, having lost to Dplus KIA and bested LOS and CTBC Flying Oyster, yet neither victory was convincing. T1 managed to take care of business against the two weaker opponents, but their mid-late game transitions remain a problem that stronger squads, like MKOI, can take advantage of.
The best LoL bookmakers have T1 listed as $1.12 favorites, which is pushing it a bit, considering T1 have hardly looked any better than Movistar KOI over the first three rounds of play. MKOI are still a team who can turn into a pumpkin, but they’ve now produced three good games, which is inspiring.
Movistar KOI to take a map at $2.25 is hard to pass on.

INVICTUS GAMING vs LYON
No odds available.
Invictus Gaming had an explosive start to LoL Worlds, with a close game against Gen.G and two victories against Team Secret Whales and Hanwha Life Esports.
The latter match was a chaotic one from the first minute, with Invictus Gaming opting for some cheesy plays, which paid off both in the bottom lane and in the top lane. This sequence allowed IG to find themselves in an advantageous position, which they took full advantage of. This scenario, however, is not repeatable, so it is fair to not praise IG too much for their upset over HLE.
LYON have looked very promising so far, with wins against Team Secret Whales and Karmine Corp, and a highly competitive 1-2 loss against Gen.G – which was decided mainly by Gen.G’s stronger draft on map three.
This is an interesting game between Invictus Gaming, who have a very high ceiling, but can be volatile, and LYON, who have so far looked much better than expected. However, while IG arguably are the better team individually, LYON have proven to be more stable, which goes a long way in a best-of-three series.
At plus money, LYON to take down Invictus Gaming is a solid bet.
