PRIVATE, formerly the core of RUBY, reached 1win Private Club #2 by winning the closed qualifiers at the start of the month.

They, however, could not find the same success at the PGL Bucharest 2027 open qualifier a few days later and crashed out in fifth-eighth place.

BIG received a direct invite from the tournament organisers as the higher-rated team.

However, they have not been in great shape of late, bombing out of FISSURE Playground #3 in 12th-16th place and Stake Ranked Episode 4 in fifth-sixth.

In BIG’s defence, they have had to face some formidable opponents, but that does not excuse their 2-8 run over the last 10 outings.

BIG are a more established roster, who have had to face much tougher teams than PRIVATE over the last two months.

However, they have played just three games in October and have not shown anything inspiring, which suggests this can turn out to be a close match.

The MongolZ return to action on Monday, for the first time since September 9, when they crashed out of FISSURE Playground #3 without a single win.

The Mongolian squad have been struggling a lot since summer, with just two wins from their last seven games.

That stretch includes games against higher-rated teams, but also defeats against the likes of magic, MIBR, and 5star eSports.

Alliance have been active this month, having attended Stake Ranked Episode 4, where they finished fifth-sixth.

Before that, they finished seventh-eighth in their 1win Private Club #1 campaign and fifth-sixth in FISSURE Playground #3.

Like The MongolZ, Alliance have not managed to win many games of late, going 1-5 from their last six.

Moreover, they have played just three matches in October, so they enter the tournament cold.

The MongolZ have a higher ceiling than Alliance, but considering the teams’ shaky form, a scrappy match is expected.

Team Liquid enter 1win Private Club with a point to prove, following a disappointing performance at Stake Pulse Beat III.

However, they have shown good things in September, when Liquid won iBUYPOWER Masters fl0m’s Mythical LAN.

Fnatic have not won a tournament since July, but they had a solid showing at Stake Ranked Episode 4 at the start of October and are 7-3 from their last 10 games.

That stretch includes mostly wins against weaker opponents, but Fnatic have been waking up and should not be underestimated.

Liquid are rightly priced as favourites on the best CS2 bookmakers, but considering they have recently struggled against BBL Esports, 100 Thieves, and Ninjas in Pyjamas, they are unlikely to walk away from this game unharmed.

PARIVISIONMagic

PARIVISION and magic last met in September, during FISSURE Playground #3, when magic won 2-0.

It was a competitive game, ending in 16-13 on Inferno and 13-11 on Ancient, so magic can hardly be viewed as the better team.

Since that defeat, PARIVISION have competed in ESL Pro League Season 24 and Thunderpick World Championship, ending the two events in fifth-eighth and seventh-eighth place.

Over that stretch, PARIVISION have shown some promise, beating Legacy, G2 Esports, and Natus Vincere, while forcing close games against Team Spirit and FURIA.

Magic have also featured in one big event, StarLadder StarSeries Fall, where they finished seventh-eighth, and shortly after added a bronze medal from 1win Private Club #1.

Unlike PARIVISION, however, magic have not beaten any notable teams since FISSURE Playground #3. Rather, they struggled against the likes of MIBR, Ninjas in Pyjamas, GamerLegion, and Alliance.

PARIVISION lost the last head-to-head clash with magic, but have shown better form since, making them a more appealing pick at the offered odds.
