Team Heretics are out of VALORANT Masters London after Leviatan claimed a major upset win across Split, Lotus and Ascent.

Leviatan pulled off a major upset victory on Sunday, June 14, when they eliminated Team Heretics from VALORANT Masters London 2026.
The South American VALORANT team travelled to London with relatively low expectations, but they proved the doubters wrong this weekend by defeating one of the main title contenders at the second Masters event of the season.
Fielding a relatively young and unproven roster, widely considered short on big-stage experience, Leviatan edged past Heretics in a three-map thriller.
The series kicked off on Split, where Leviatan did not take long to get the ball rolling. They secured a comfortable 9-3 lead before halftime and did not slow down in the second half, winning four straight rounds on attack to close out the map 13-3.
Following a humiliating loss on Split, Team Heretics struck back on Lotus. Both teams continued to use a more aggressive double-duelist setup, with Heretics picking up Neon and Raze, while Leviatan leaned on Jett and Raze.
After Heretics won the first two rounds on defence, the two teams went back and forth, but the VCT EMEA squad proved more efficient and took a 7-5 lead before the switch.
Leviatan were not ready to let Heretics run away with the map and tied the score with two successful defuses in the second half. However, their efforts to complete the sweep were in vain, as Heretics proved sharper in the key shootouts and cruised to a 13-11 victory, denying Leviatan overtime.
Ascent was the deciding map, and the third in which both teams opted to use two duelists. This time, however, the added firepower benefited Leviatan more.
The first half started with a close back-and-forth, but slowly Heretics started to run out of steam and ended up 8-4 down before moving onto the defending side.
Even the switch did not help the VCT EMEA champions find any meaningful traction. Heretics won just two rounds in the second half, while Leviatan picked up the remaining five to win the map 13-6 and close out the series 2-1.
With this win, Leviatan have guaranteed a top-six finish at VALORANT Masters London, tying their best Masters placement from 2022, when they finished Masters Copenhagen in fifth-sixth place.
Leviatan’s next match is scheduled for June 16, when they will face the loser from the upper bracket semifinals.
