Paris Gentle Mates made a promising start to the Stage 3 Major Qualifiers, winning their first three matches across the opening two weeks. However, they ran into OpTic Texas on Friday and came away with a fairly one-sided defeat.

Gentle Mates were competitive on Hardpoint, losing 236-250, but the rest of the series was rough. Search & Destroy ended 1-6, while Overload finished 2-5, leaving Paris with plenty to clean up before Sunday’s closer.

Miami Heretics have not had much success this stage either, losing three of their first four games. They picked up a strong win over FaZe Vegas last week, but have since fallen to G2 Minnesota and Riyadh Falcons, with the latter ending in a 1-3 defeat.

Paris Gentle Mates have had the edge in this matchup across the season, winning three clashes since January. The latest meeting, however, went Miami’s way in a 3-1 result two weeks ago, which matters in a matchup priced as evenly as this one.

Miami’s record is not pretty, but their schedule has been tough, and they deserve a bit of leeway. They are also the better Search & Destroy team, which could be decisive if this series goes long. At even odds, the Heretics are the better side to back.

LOS ANGELES THIEVES vs G2 MINNESOTA

Los Angeles Thieves are short favourites to defeat G2 Minnesota on the best Call of Duty betting sites, and that should not come as much of a surprise.

G2 Minnesota have had the occasional flash this season, but they have not shown enough consistency to be trusted in a matchup like this. They are also 0-3 in the head-to-head against the Thieves, which makes this a difficult spot to approach with much confidence.

The two sides met twice in March, with Los Angeles Thieves winning 3-0 and 3-1. Their most recent clash, at the end of April, was another clean 3-0 sweep for LAT.

Given the form Los Angeles Thieves have shown this stage, it is hard to doubt them here. They have handled G2 comfortably before, they are playing with confidence, and this is another spot where their stronger map pool should show.

Another clean sweep for the Thieves looks highly likely, making the -2.5 map handicap the standout play.

TORONTO KOI vs CLOUD9 NEW YORK

Toronto KOI are given a 98% implied probability of beating Cloud9 New York on Sunday. That looks extreme at first glance, especially considering C9NY won two maps in the last meeting between these teams in March.

Cloud9 New York have not shown much improvement since then, though, and they have looked especially weak on the newer maps. With Exposure now out of the rotation, Toronto KOI should not be exposed in quite the same way as they were in that earlier meeting.

That said, Toronto KOI are still not flawless. Their Search & Destroy has been a real issue, as they are 0-4 in the mode since beating Riyadh Falcons in the opening week of the stage.

Cloud9 New York, meanwhile, only really seem capable of doing damage in Search & Destroy. That is not enough to build an upset case, but it does give them a reasonable path to stealing one map if KOI’s S&D problems continue.

Toronto KOI should win the series, but Cloud9 New York taking one map is very much in play. At even money, the underdog map handicap is the better betting angle.
