Team WE finally got their name on the board on Wednesday, when they defeated Invictus Gaming 2-1. It was not exactly their best performance of the split, but after taking a map off JD Gaming on Saturday, it does suggest WE might have found a little bit of momentum.

That said, beating Invictus Gaming is not something to overrate. IG have been one of the most two-faced teams in the group, and that showed again in Wednesday’s match.

Weibo Gaming are not exactly a model of stability either. They remain one of the more volatile teams in the league, capable of looking dangerous one day and completely flat the next. That makes it difficult to trust them at such a short price.

WBG still deserve to be favourites, but the -714.29 line feels too short for a team this inconsistent. Team WE have not shown enough to seriously chase the upset, but with some momentum behind them, they can at least make this more competitive than the odds suggest.

NINJAS IN PYJAMAS vs ANYONE’S LEGEND

Ninjas in Pyjamas and Anyone’s Legend last met at the start of LPL 2026 Split 2 Week 4, when AL came away with a 2-0 victory. The scoreline looked comfortable enough, but it did not tell the full story.

NiP had their chances in that series and put themselves into winning positions, only to waste too many openings. That has been the story of their split at times: competitive enough to trouble strong teams, but not always clean enough to finish the job.

Anyone’s Legend have improved since that meeting and enter Week 6 on a five-series winning streak. Their early game has looked sharper, and they have been much better at using leads to close out games. That is a major step forward from the version of AL we saw earlier in the split.

Still, some context is needed. Their last three matches came against Top Esports and Invictus Gaming twice, and both opponents have been fairly unstable. AL are in better shape, but this is not a spot where they should be treated as untouchable.

On paper, Anyone’s Legend are the stronger side and deserve to be favoured, but Ninjas in Pyjamas have been competitive enough to make this awkward. Rather than chasing the outright upset, backing NiP to take a map looks like the safer play.
