ThunderTalk Gaming are the only unbeaten team left in Group Nirvana, having already beaten Ultra Prime and Oh My God. That 2-0 record looks good on paper, but the performances themselves have been much less convincing.
Both of TT’s wins could easily have gone the other way, which makes it difficult to fully buy into them as favourites. They have been doing enough to get over the line, but there has not been much separation between them and the rest of the group.
LGD Gaming sit at 2-1 and come into this match off a 0-2 loss to Ultra Prime. That result was disappointing, but it fits the wider pattern of Group Nirvana, where almost every fixture has felt messy, volatile, and very close to a coin flip.
That makes LGD the more appealing side at plus money. They were active last week, whereas ThunderTalk Gaming have not played since April 17, and in a group where favourites keep looking shaky, taking the outsider makes plenty of sense.

Ultra Prime opened the split with a loss to ThunderTalk Gaming, but they bounced back well with a much cleaner 2-0 sweep of LGD Gaming. It was the kind of performance they needed to show after a slow start, and it puts them in a decent spot heading into this matchup.
EDward Gaming started their campaign with a strong win over LNG Esports, but they could not back it up against LGD Gaming last week. That result took some shine off EDG and made it much harder to trust them as short-priced favourites here.
Group Nirvana has been difficult to read because most of the teams are making too many mistakes. EDG might look better on paper, but their last performance left a lot to be desired, and there is very little reason to believe they should be priced this far ahead of Ultra Prime.
With side choice and a confidence-boosting win behind them, Ultra Prime look like a live underdog. At +175, they are the value side in what should be a much closer match than the market suggests.
