Both teams started LCK Rounds 1-2 with a 1-1 record. Dplus KIA lost to Nongshim RedForce in their first match of the split and defeated KRX in the second. Meanwhile, Hanwha Life Esports crushed BRION but could not keep up with T1, who bested them 2-0 on Saturday.

Neither squad impressed in the first week of play; however, Dplus KIA looked worse. After losing to RedForce, they defeated KRX, but hardly deserved to win the second map. Moreover, they struggled a bit in the first game and won purely thanks to Heo “ShowMaker” Su’s carry performance.

Hanwha Life Esports are a bit of an enigma. They looked disjointed in the LCK Cup, as they clearly struggled with synergy. With only two games under their belt, it is hard to say whether they’ve found a solution, but they remain one of the most stacked teams in the league.

HLE have a higher upside and are an inviting pick at the offered odds.

The best LoL bookmakers have Gen.G priced as $1.40 favorites to defeat T1 on Wednesday. Even though this is a clash between two of LCK’s elite teams, Gen.G have had T1’s number in recent years, and there is little to suggest much will change this week.

Admittedly, Gen.G did not look great in the first week of LCK Rounds 1-2. However, that was the case of international hangover, as they had recently attended First Stand. T1, on the other side, are expected to do better in Rounds 1-2 than they did in the LCK Cup, yet their loss to KT Rolster last week does not inspire much confidence.

Gen.G have been carrying the tag of the clear best team in LCK for over a season now, and are worth a smaller position to sweep T1.
