G2 Minnesota are in a very good spot. They’ve won four out of seven games played over the first four weeks of play, and have been slowly improving in areas they’ve previously struggled.

The only area they continue to lack is their Hardpoint, where G2 Minnesota have proven to be somewhat inconsistent. Notably, they do not play Exposure and are 40% on Scar.

Even with those numbers, G2 Minnesota are in a much better position than Boston Breach, who do not do well on any game mode. They’re 40% or lower across all three game modes. They are competitive on Search & Destroy, especially on Colossus (83.3%), but have been very inconsistent on other maps and game modes.

G2 Minnesota have looked more polished this season and should come out ahead without major issues.

VANCOUVER SURGE vs MIAMI HERETICS

Vancouver Surge finished last week with a 2-0 record, beating Cloud9 New York and the struggling Paris Gentle Mates. It was their best week yet, but a pair of strong games does not take away from the fact that the Surge have been mediocre at most this season.

Miami Heretics are a mid-table team but have been showing improvement over the past few weeks. They entered the fifth week of play on a three-game winning streak and on Friday, they added a convincing 3-0s weep of Riyadh Falcons.

Despite the Miami Heretics’ slow start to the season, they seem to be finding their stride and look poised to keep the winning streak going against the Vancouver Surge, who are not bad, but far from great.

Riyadh Falcons lost to Miami Heretics 0-3 on Friday, marking their second defeat over a three-game stretch. They previously had to admit defeat to G2 Minnesota, but managed to take down Toronto KOI.

This is a weird bag of results, highlighting the Falcons’ slight inconsistency. That is especially true for their Search & Destroy, where they struggle in closing out rounds and are prone to slow starts.

Los Angeles Thieves had a flawless start to the stage, but enter Week 5 on a three-game losing streak, having dropped against OpTic Texas, Vegas FaZe, and Miami Heretics. Despite the poor results, LA Thieves look great on Overload, yet their struggles on Hardpoint and Search & Destroy are the limiting factors.

Despite the Los Angeles Thieves’ high ceiling, this looks like a coin-flip game. S&D can go either way, Falcons should have an edge on Hardpoint, while the LA Thieves should do better on Overload.

Priced at $2.20 on the top CoD betting sites, Riyadh Falcons are a solid pick.

FAZE VEGAS vs CAROLINA ROYAL RAVENS

Carolina Royal Ravens have managed only three wins ahead of the final week of the qualifiers. While they’ve not been playing poorly, the Royal Ravens have also been showing cracks.

This is a fairly inexperienced team, and that shows in their Hardpoint, which sits at a 42.1% win rate this season. Search & Destroy is not any better at 35.3%, although there was some improvement in the game mode during this stage.

Vegas FaZe are 3-5, having struggled to find any momentum in Stage 2. Last week, they lost to OpTic Texas but edged out a win against Los Angeles Thieves, so there are some signs of life.

It’s hard to pin down FaZe and where they stand. It is, however, clear that Jovan “04” Rodriguez is struggling.

While FaZe Vegas should be viewed as the favorites, their lack of consistency makes the Carolina Royal Ravens an inviting pick at outsider odds.
