Another huge week of esports will take place in the week beginning June 5, 2023, with Valorant taking centre stage.

After kicking off on Sunday in Tokyo, Japan, the VCT Masters: Tokyo will be the only Masters event on the 2023 Valorant Champions Tour calendar.

12 of the very best Valorant teams qualified through their regional seasons, and they will all congregate in Tokyo seeking to be crowned VCT Masters champion and take home the US$350,000 winners cheque.

Most esports betting sites have Fnatic as their +125 favourite, closely followed by LOUD at +300 and Paper Rex at +600.

Some of the key leagues and tournaments taking place in the esports world this week include:

  • Valorant Champions Tour Masters: Tokyo

    VCT Masters: Tokyo will be the second international event of the 2023 Valorant Champions Tour, with the winner of the event earning their region an extra slot at Champions 2023 from their respective Last Chance Qualifier. Due to Fnatic winning the LOCK//IN tournament, EMEA will have an extra team at the VCT Masters event.

  • League of Legends Championship Series (LCS)

    After being postponed for two weeks, the League of Legends Championship Series will finally kick off on June 14, where the 10 teams will battle it out for the top three Swiss stage qualification spots for LoL Worlds.

    Esports betting sites have FlyQuest marked as their +200 favourite, with Cloud9 at +250 and 100 Thieves at (+450) on the second and third line of betting.

  • Call of Duty League Championship

    The Call of Duty League Championship Weekend will begin on June 14 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, with the best eight teams from the CDL battling it out over a four-day event.

    The winner of the event will be crowned the CDL champion and take home the US$1,000,000 winners cheque.

    The bookies have Atlanta FaZe marked as their +200 favourite, closely followed by Toronto Ultra at +350 and OpTic Texas (+350).
