What’s on in esports for week beginning July 15, 2024
Another big week of pro gaming kicks off on July 15, 2024, with the Counter-Strike 2 taking centre stage at the Esports World Cup.
Top-tier Counter-Strike will return on July 17, when the Esports World Cup CS2 tournament kicks off in Saudi Arabia, with 15 of the world’s best teams taking their place in the four-day event.
Also, the PUBG Mobile World Cup will kick off on July 19, where the top 28 PUBG Mobile teams will compete in a 10-day tournament.
Meanwhile, the 1bet on Dota 23 Riyadh Masters will conclude this week, with the playoffs starting on July 16 and running through July 21.

Esports World Cup CS2
After a month-long player break, the top Counter-Strike 2 teams will congregate in Riyadh for the US$1 million event.
Eight of the top 10 ranked teams in the ESL world rankings will feature at the four-day tournament, with the likes of Team Spirit, Team Vitality and FaZe Clan expected to do well.
The best esports betting sites have Team Spirit marked as +275 favourites in outright betting, closely followed by Team Vitality (+325) and FaZe Clan (+400).

PUBG Mobile World Cup
The PUBG Mobile World Cup will carry the second biggest prize pool at the Esports World Cup, with a massive US$3,000,000 attached to the tournament.
The top 28 PUBG Mobile squads will compete in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with the group stage scheduled to run from July 19 to July 21.
Esports bookmakers have Alpha7 Esports (+550) as the favourite to take out the PUBG Mobile World Cup, just ahead of IHC Esports (+600), 4Merical Vibes (+650), and Vampire Esports (+650).

The final week of the Dota 2 Riyadh Masters will begin on Tuesday, July 16, with the top eight teams from the group stage playing each other in the quarter-finals.
