Fans of one of the top professional gaming outfits, OG, were in a frenzy when rumours began to circulate about potential roster changes in their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team.
These rumours were fuelled by speculation about the future of certain players and the team’s recent performance. However, OG sniper Abdulkhalik “degster” Gasanov has come forward to put these to rest.
In a recent Twitter post, degster stated that there are no plans for any roster changes within OG. He encouraged fans to pay less attention to leaks, as the team are focused on improving their performance and achieving even greater success in the upcoming season.

Degster’s need to tweet about the team’s roster was borne out of the growing news leaks from OverDrive, a CIS scene insider known for reporting on roster moves in European and CIS teams. On December 26, OverDrive tweeted that OG was “searching for a rifler for the next season,” causing the community to speculate on which player might be replaced. Many people speculated that it could be Maciej “F1KU” Miklas or Adam “Neofrag” Zouhar, who joined the OG roster on May 27.
OverDrive also responded to degster’s tweet, stating that the sniper might not have all the information regarding potential changes and that he often has knowledge of such changes before the players do. Despite this, OverDrive assured that the 21-year old will retain his spot in the lineup.
Degster joined the team in July, replacing Mateusz “mantuu” Wilczewski, and is the team’s latest addition. Since then, the team has experienced a mix of successes and setbacks, including qualifying for their first CS:GO Major in Rio de Janeiro and making it to the semifinals in the BLAST Premier: World Final 2022. They also placed in the top three in the BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022.
