Brazilian Counter-Strike 2 organization ODDIK have completed their roster with Marcelo “coldzera” David, who joins the team from RED Canids.
ODDIK have announced the arrival of Marcelo “coldzera” David, who joins the Brazilian Counter-Strike 2 team after a three-month stint with RED Canids.
ODDIK haven’t revealed which position the 30-year-old will occupy, as he has previous experience as a rifler and AWPer.
However, with Adriano “WOOD7” Cerato already on ODDIK’s roster, coldzera will likely pick up a rifle.
With ODDIK, coldzera will continue his long esports career, which started in 2013 with semXorah.
Since then, the Brazilian has played for 12 different teams, more notably Luminosity Gaming and SK Gaming, with whom he won back-to-back Major titles at MLG Major Championship: Columbus 2016 and ESL One: Cologne 2016.
Coldzera has spent the last two years competing mostly in lower-tier tournaments with RED Canids, whom he joined in May 2024.
During his stint with the Brazilian team, coldzera has seen underwhelming results, managing just one tournament title at CBCS Masters 2024 in October.
This season has not been fruitful either, ending with an early elimination from ESL Pro League Season 22 South American qualifiers.
While joining ODDIK will not see coldzera re-enter the highest tier of competitive Counter-Strike, the current No.31 team on the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) have shown some life before the summer break.
They came one game short of qualifying for BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 and in May missed out on PGL Astana 2025 playoffs by a single series.
Coldzera will debut for his new team on Friday, in the South American BLAST Rising event – Ace South American Masters Fall 2025 – when ODDIK clash with DESEMPREGUEIDOS.
The top Counter-Strike 2 betting sites have ODDIK priced as -250 favorites to win the game and take one step closer to qualifying for BLAST Open Fall 2025.
