ThunderTalk Gaming started Week 6 of LPL 2025 Split 2 with losses against Bilibili Gaming, Invictus Gaming, and FunPlus Phoenix. They showed some pulse in the first two games and fumbled their chances against FPX, who are very good at finding windows of opportunity.
Besides their shaky display against FunPlus Phoenix, ThunderTalk Gaming deserve some slack for their iffy results, as they are playing with a new jungler, and they had to deal with a very brutal schedule.
Anyone’s Legend are one of the hottest teams in the LPL, and they are rightly priced as the favourite with the top LoL betting sites to take down ThunderTalk for the second time this split. The first meeting was a one-sided stomping, and even though TT Gaming’s numbers have bottomed out due to the tough schedule, things will not get much easier on Monday.

FunPlus Phoenix secured a massive 2-1 victory against Anyone’s Legend on Friday, adding another head-scratcher to their run through the split. Stats-wise, FunPlus Phoenix are not good, yet they have managed to defeat JD Gaming, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Bilibili Gaming, and Anyone’s Legend.
That has to do with FPX’s ability to punish their opponents’ mistakes, but Yang “Care” Jie and co. are not capable of creating their own chances. According to the latest odds, that approach should be enough to take down Ninjas in Pyjamas.
NiP have been very inconsistent this split, but they have been showing some signs of life lately, with a 2-0 sweep of Weibo Gaming and a close 1-2 loss against Top Esports. While they still have a lot more to prove, Ninjas in Pyjamas should not be priced as +110 underdogs and are a solid pick at these odds.
