LoL MSI 2025 Bracket Stage opening round concludes

The opening round of the 2025 League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational Bracket Stage concluded on Thursday, with the winning teams advancing to the second round of the upper bracket, while the losers dropped into the first round of the lower bracket.

Gen.G kicked off the stage with a strong 3-1 victory over G2 Esports. Even though the outright title favourites at esports betting sites dropped the opening map, Gen.G bounced back with three straight wins to claim the series.
