TEAM BDS ACADEMY vs LDLC OL LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: BDS.A +125 at BetOnline | LDLC -175.44 at BetOnline

The reigning LFL champion, LDLC OL, will clash with Team BDS Academy in the opening match of LFL 2022 Summer. LDLC OL are the favourites with the top betting sites, which makes sense since they are the current French champions and the European Masters 2022 Spring finalists.

However, if we compare the teams talent-wise, LDLC and BDS Academy belong in the same tier. For while both are undeniably good enough to win the LFL trophy, they are not quite as good as Karmine Corp.

If we go lane-by-lane, LDLC look stronger in the top lane with Onurcan “Ragner” Aslan, and they field arguably the best LFL jungler in Martin “Yike” Sundelin. The mid lane is a complete toss-up, whereas BDS Academy field a significantly better bottom lane in ADC Juš “Crownshot” Marušič and support Erdote Robert “Erdote” Nowak, who are easily the top players in the respective roles.

So, talent-wise, there is not much to separate the two teams, and even though you could still favour LDLC due to their past success, the recently introduced Durability Patch will completely change how the game is played, making the team’s past achievements far less valuable. As such, we like Team BDS Academy at the outsider odds.

TEAM GO vs SOLARY LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: GO +125 at BetOnline | Solary -175.44 at BetOnline
When: June 1, 2022 | 19:00 CEST
Watch Live: Lolesports, Twitch

Team GO (formerly GamrrsOrigin) are priced as +125 underdogs for this match. That is no great surprise, as they are arguably one of the weakest LFL teams besides Team Oplon and Mirage Elyandra.

That assessment might not be entirely fair to Team GO, since we don’t know how good the newly added top laner Erkmen “NuQ” Erdoğdu and support Đai-vinh “Veignorem” Lussiez are. However, we know that the rest of the roster is serviceable at best – besides Ludvig Erik Hugo “SMILEY” Granquist, who has proven to be an above-average ADC.

Solary are hardly title contenders, but they’re undeniably stronger than Team GO. Besides top laner Simon “Kio” Králik, who was struggling last season, Solary field a fairly competitive roster, and they shouldn’t be losing games like this one.

Despite the uncertainty around how teams will perform in the new version of the game, Solary look a safe bet in this spot.

GAMEWARD vs MISFITS PREMIER LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: GW +200 at BetOnline | Misfits -303.03 at BetOnline
When: June 1, 2022 | 20:00 CEST
Watch Live: Lolesports, Twitch

Misfits Premier were one of the top LFL teams last split, and we don’t expect that to change in LFL 2022 Summer. Even though the Bunnies lost Kristian “TynX” Østergaard, who joined MAD Lions Madrid, they have acquired former Astralis jungler Nikolay “Zanzarah” Akatov. With Zanzarah stepping in, Misfits Premier have kept the same quality level that helped them place top five last split, so expect them to do just as well this time out.

GameWard, on the other side, have not made any changes to their lineup ahead of LFL 2022 Summer, but perhaps they should have. The roster as a whole screams mediocrity, and barring any miracle runs, GW likely won’t improve on their eight-place finish from last split.

However, even though Misfits Premier look stronger on paper, GameWard have plenty of upside. ADC Nihat “Innaxe” Aliev and Paweł “Czekolad” Szczepanik are both better than what they’ve shown so far at GW, whereas Philippe “Akabane” Le is more than capable of competing with other junglers.

This match has upset potential, and at +200 on the moneyline, it’s very hard to pass on GameWard. A bet on the outsiders with a kill handicap might be a good alternative, but we have no data on how the latest patch will affect total kills per game and other stats, so we’ll stick with a head-to-head bet.
