League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) 2026 Spring Week 2 comes to an end on Monday, April 6, with the final two fixtures, as GIANTX clash with Team Heretics, followed by a meeting between Team Vitality and Movistar KOI.

While the teams have had a chance to warm up, we are still very early into the split, meaning upsets are still on the cards, adding a pinch of excitement for LoL fans as they watch the action unfold.

GIANTX played just one game in the opening week of LEC Spring, and won 2-1 against Fnatic and have since swept SK Gaming on Sunday. It was a strong showing from a team who already proved themselves to be a competitive mid-table squad in LEC Versus.

However, while GIANTX have not shown many weaknesses, they’ve hardly looked exceptional either. They are good, but not great, and a team who appear to have a low ceiling.

Team Heretics have played three games so far this split. They defeated SK Gaming and lost the next two against Team Vitality and G2 Esports. The two maps in the latter game played out very similarly – it was close for the first 20 minutes, before G2 Esports took over the mid-late game.

Both of these teams are somewhat inefficient in the early-mid game transition and neither have shown anything exceptional.

The top LoL bookmakers have GIANTX priced as favorites, which is not surprising, but the gap between the two squads is not as significant as the numbers suggest.

After losing their opening match of LEC Spring, Team Vitality picked up the pace and won the next two, sweeping Team Heretics and Natus Vincere.

The game against NAVI was a bit of a fiesta. Vitality won the first map convincingly, but needed a miraculous, but a well-deserved comeback on map two.

Movistar KOI lost their first game of the split against Natus Vincere, and picked up a 2-0 sweep against Fnatic. Two games are not enough to make any firm conclusions, but past results play into the offered odds, pricing Movistar as top dogs.

Even though Movistar have a higher ceiling, they are also known to beat themselves often, and are not to be trusted as favorites. Vitality are similar in that sense, so this, by design, is a coin-flip match.

At +200, Vitality are an excellent pick for a game between two inconsistent squads.
