SK Gaming and Team Heretics last met in the third week of LEC Versus, when SK Gaming won. Since then, SK have lost four straight games, against Movistar KOI, GIANTX, Los Ratones, and Shifters, thus missing out on the playoffs.
Team Heretics reached the LEC Versus knockout stage with a 6-5 record, but they did not make it far. They lost to G2 Esports and GIANTX in the first round, ending the winter split in seventh-eighth place.
Both teams failed to perform at the start of the season, and neither are expected to compete for the title in LEC Spring.
However, the top LoL bookmakers have Heretics priced as firm favorites for this clash, putting little hope in SK Gaming and their chances to improve from a 3-8 start to the season.
Even though it is fair to feel sceptical about SK Gaming, Heretics have not shown much either. They also appear to have a much lower floor than SK Gaming, having proven themselves as a up-and-down team who will either win convincingly or lose badly.
Until Heretics show more stability, they can drop a map to anyone.

Fnatic had a very disappointing start to the split, as they finished LEC Versus in seventh-eighth place. Movistar KOI, on the other side, reached the lower bracket finals, where they lost to Karmine Corp on map five.
KOI’s last game was quite bad, which knocked them down a bit in the LEC power rankings. However, they have had many solid showings.
Movistar KOI are the same team they were last season, highly volatile. They are capable of explosive victories, but also bad beats, making them a tough sell as favorites. However, Fnatic, with their current roster, are unlikely to compete for top spots and given their shaky start to the season, it is hard to make a solid case for them.
Movistar KOI are more than capable of losing this game; however, Fnatic appear to be a tier below and until they show something, they are hardly a good choice, even at these prices.
