ESB’s free League Of Legends Betting tips and predictions for Saturday focus on four LoL Championship Series (LCS) 2021 Summer bouts. Here are our best bets for Golden Guardians vs 100 Thieves, Dignitas vs Cloud9, FlyQuest vs Immortals, and Team Liquid vs Evil Geniuses, with top odds courtesy of BetOnline.

GOLDEN GUARDIANS vs 100 THIEVES LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

LoL Betting Odds: GG +206 at BetOnline | 100T -294.12 at BetOnline

100 Thieves enter the final week of the summer season following a loss to Immortals, whereas Golden Guardians lost all three of their LCS 2021 Summer Week 8 bouts against Counter Logic Gaming, TSM, and Team Liquid, extending their losing streak to four.

100 Thieves are a much better team than GG; however, they have started to slump midway through July. While they have managed solid performance numbers over the last three weeks, there was an apparent decline in all of their metrics – most notably, 100T dropped in Early-Game Rating (57.3 EGR) and Mid-Late Game Rating (-9.0), where they rank fourth and seventh in the league.

Golden Guardians are a solid early-game team and consistently gain early advantages, but that usually isn’t enough due to their mid-late game issues. This will likely prevent Golden Guardians to cause an upset on Saturday; however, the stylistic matchup suggests we are in for a high-scoring affair.

DIGNITAS vs CLOUD9 LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

LoL Betting Odds: DIG +220 at BetOnline | C9 -312.5 at BetOnline

Cloud9 are slowly coming into form, but they’re still far from where we expected them to be. The reigning LCS champions are 4-2 in their last six, with losses to Immortals and TSM, who beat them on Sunday.

Since Cloud9 still field a very stacked roster, they will get a lot of respect on the betting markets, but based on what they’ve been showing – relative to other LCS top dogs – in the latter stages of the season, you should feel slightly concerned about their chances to lift the trophy in August.

Dignitas aren’t very good, and you really need to dig deep to find some redeeming qualities in this squad. Dignitas have caused a couple of upsets of late – against 100 Thieves and Team Liquid – but it mostly came down to their ability to capitalise on their opponents’ mistakes.

Cloud9 have become known for their blunders, so there is a world where they turn into a pumpkin and lose, but with the 2021 LCS Championship just around the corner, we expect C9 to shift into a higher gear and deliver.

FLYQUEST vs IMMORTALS LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

LoL Betting Odds: FLY +108 at BetOnline | IMT -144.93 at BetOnline
When: July 31, 2021 at 16:00 PDT

We don’t have a problem with the offered LoL betting odds on this match. FlyQuest have been severely overrated for a couple of weeks now, and it wasn’t until recently that people realised that this team is not very good.

Besides their fluke, 4-0 run through LCS 2021 Summer Week 6-7, FlyQuest haven’t shown anything worth celebrating and are now on a five-game losing streak. Immortals have been very inconsistent with their performances over the season; however, they looked much better last week with wins against Dignitas, Evil Geniuses and 100 Thieves.

This seems like a very cheap price on Immortals, who shouldn’t be priced much higher than $1.60. They have been more consistent than FlyQuest on the summer season and field a far more experienced roster.

TEAM LIQUID vs EVIL GENIUSES LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

LoL Betting Odds: TL -126.58 at BetOnline | EG -104.17 at BetOnline

As a team that struggled on and off the Summoner’s Rift throughout most of the summer season, Team Liquid have seemingly found some traction of late. Although they have managed only three wins in their last six outings, their performance numbers show an entirely different picture.

With the return of Barney “Alphari” Morris, Liquid’s early-game metrics skyrocketed, and they now average +2664 GD@15, which is by far the highest Gold Difference at 15 minutes out of any team across all four major regions. What’s more, Liquid average the highest Gold Percentage Rating (1.68 GPR) and fourth-highest Gold Spent Percentage Rating (3.5% GSPD) in the league, indicating that they’re playing much better than what their record would suggest.
Evil Geniuses have had a couple of slip-ups over the last two weeks, with losses to Immortals and Golden Guardians. However, they’re still averaging some of the highest performance numbers in the LCS. And even in their losses, EG haven’t played poorly, but it mostly came down to inferior drafts – particularly against Immortals.

Liquid have been improving, whereas EG have stagnated; however, this is still a 50/50 match. We like Evil Geniuses better at the offered betting odds.
