DRX’s playstyle hasn’t changed from the LCK 2021 Spring; they’re still a slow team that prefers scaling and waiting for their opponents to make mistakes. That makes them very potent against sides that aren’t quick enough to gain early leads.

Nongshim RedForce have been playing well relative to their roster quality. They’re 2-0 on the split with wins against KT Rolster and Liiv SANDBOX, which is quite an achievement for the LCK’s perpetual underdogs.

This is a clash between two mid-table teams who will likely compete for a top-six finish. RedForce come off as a better pick, but they have been making too many mistakes for us to believe they’ll be left unpunished by DRX. A 2-1 win for either side seems likely.

GEN.G vs KT ROLSTER LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

LoL Betting Odds: Gen.G -476.19 at BetOnline | KT +311 at BetOnline
When: June 16, 2021 at 20:00 KST

Gen.G’s strong form should come as no surprise given the quality of their players. However, we aren’t used to seeing them play this well so early into the split.

KT Rolster stunned DWG KIA on Sunday as +416 underdogs and made quite a statement. Still, we shouldn’t overreact to these early-split upsets, as they usually don’t mean much in the long run.

We should give KT Rolster some praise for their performances, but we don’t believe this is a position where you can take the underdogs. Gen.G are the play until they start showing signs of weakness.
