Led by the dynamic duo of Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov and Nikola “NiKo” Kovač, G2 outplayed Virtus.pro at every turn, demonstrating exceptional teamwork and individual skill.

On Anubis, Virtus.pro struggled to find their footing against a dominant G2 defence.
Despite a brief resurgence after winning the second pistol round, Virtus.pro faltered in the face of G2’s strategic plays, ultimately succumbing to a 13-6 defeat.
The battle intensified on Overpass as Virtus.pro asserted their dominance early on, establishing a 5-1 lead.
However, G2 rallied back with a series of impressive plays, including a standout performance from NiKo.
Yet, it was m0NESY’s clutch plays that turned the tide in G2’s favour, securing crucial rounds and ultimately leading to a 13-10 victory.
With their sights set on the semi-finals against MOUZ, G2’s momentum remains strong as they continue to prove themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the Counter-Strike 2 scene.
Meanwhile, FaZe Clan advanced to the semi-finals after a hard-fought series against Team Liquid.
Despite facing tough competition, FaZe’s resilience and strategic prowess ultimately secured them a 2-1 (16-13, 13-11, 13-10) victory, with wins on Nuke and Mirage.

Liquid, despite showing promise with their new lineup, fell short against FaZe’s seasoned lineup.
Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis displayed flashes of brilliance, while Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken showcased his carry potential, but they couldn’t match Helvijs ‘broky’ Saukants and David ‘frozen’ Čerňanský on the other side of the server.
