BIG lost their opening match on Wednesday, when they had to admit defeat to the Outsiders with 9-16 on Dust II and 11-16 on Inferno. BIG were clearly the worse team on the day, and not one map looked like it was close.

In their defence, Outsiders are much stronger than they seem, but we still expected to see a bit more from the German squad, who did not look very convincing. But it’s not like MiBR have looked much better in their tournament opener, where they lost (0-2) against G2, proving that they can’t compete against top-tier teams.

Still, even though MiBR showed that they aren’t good enough to go far in this tournament, they should be able to go toe-to-toe with BIG, which are not in the best shape. BIG should win, but unless they find some traction, there’s a good chance this series reaches the third map.

FAZE CLAN vs OUTSIDERS CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: FaZe -909.09 at BetOnline | Outsiders +500 at BetOnline

FaZe Clan demolished FTW Esports on the first day of ESL Pro League Season 16 Group B matches, beating the Portuguese squad 16-4, 16-4. Likewise, Outsiders played well on Wednesday, when they stomped BIG 2-0.

One victory doesn’t mean much, and we can’t take much from FaZe beating a vastly inferior team, but seeing Outsiders perform as well as they did suggests that they can put up a fight on Friday.

FaZe Clan are priced as -250 favourites with most CS:GO betting sites, which is fair since they shouldn’t be losing games like this, but we don’t expect it to be a clean sweep. Outsiders have shown a lot of good qualities with the new lineup, and if they can keep their wheels spinning, this affair could be much closer than expected.
