ESB’s free Counter-Strike: Global Offensive betting picks for Wednesday, March 23, focus on the opening three fixtures of Group C in ESL Pro League Season 15. Here are our selections for Players vs Party Astronauts, GODSENT vs Movistar Riders, and Team Liquid vs BIG, with top odds courtesy of BetOnline.

PLAYERS vs PARTY ASTRONAUTS CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: Players -10000 at BetOnline | Partyz +1400 at BetOnline
When: March 23, 2022 | 12:30 CET

Players (Gambit Esports roster) enter their opening match of ESL Pro League Season 15 as -10000 favourites with the top CS:GO betting sites, suggesting they are all but guaranteed to defeat Party Astronauts. That sounds fair, considering Players are the second-highest rated team in the world, whereas Party Astronauts are ranked no.30 on the global ladder.

It’s also important to note that Party Astronauts have yet to compete in an S-Tier tournament and have been mostly playing in various qualifiers, ESEA Cash Cups, and a couple of C-Tier events. This will be a huge step up for the North American roster, who should have zero to no chance of winning anything.

Players are clearly a much stronger roster, but they have not played an official match in almost a month and are known to underperform on LAN. That doesn’t take away from the fact that Players are miles ahead of Party Astronauts and should win, but the round line seems to be set slightly high. Take Party Astronauts with a 7.5-round advantage.

GODSENT vs MOVISTAR RIDERS CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: GODSENT -133.33 at BetOnline | Riders +101 at BetOnline
When: March 23, 2022 | 16:00 CET

João “felps” Vasconcellos decided to take a break from competitive CS:GO and didn’t travel to Germany, which might seem like a huge problem, but GODSENT found a great replacement in former Immortals and FURIA Esports veteran Henrique “HEN1” Teles. Moreover, felps has been struggling with his form across the last three months, so his absence likely won’t be as noticeable.

On the other side, Movistar Riders will not be making any changes to its CS:GO roster, but perhaps they should. The Spanish squad have not achieved anything this year, and even though they’re 4-1 across their last five outings, they’ve only won against Rhyno Esports (twice), SAW, and 00 Nation.

GODSENT have not achieved much in 2022 either, and the last-minute roster change won’t help them either. We still believe that the Brazilian squad should win, but they might drop a map, and they’re not a good bet at -133.33. So instead, we’re on overs.

TEAM LIQUID vs BIG CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: Liquid +100 at BetOnline | BIG -138.89 at BetOnline
When: March 23, 2022 | 19:30 CET

Team Liquid look very scary on paper, but as their recent results would suggest, Liquid aren’t very strong. They’ve attended three events since the turn of the year and haven’t impressed in any of them. With early exits from BLAST Premier Spring Groups (10th-12th) and IEM Katowice 2022 (13th-16th) and a runner-up finish in the first American RMR at the start of this month, Liquid have a lot to prove if they want to be taken seriously.

BIG transitioned from a firepower-heavy to a more tactical team last year following the departure of İsmailсan “XANTARES” Dörtkardeş. With a new identity, BIG have achieved reasonable success, but nothing outstanding, so it’s fair to view them as a team that is good but not great.

Team Liquid are held in higher regard due to the star names on the roster, but most of these CS:GO legends are way past their prime. Individually, they should match up with BIG nicely, but the Germans come off as a more stable team than Liquid, who have yet to convince us.

BIG to win
