ESB’s free Counter-Strike: Global Offensive betting picks for Tuesday, October 12 focus on two Elisa Invitational Fall 2021 playoff bouts. Here are our selections for Copenhagen Flames vs Team Finest and SKADE vs Team Fiend, with top odds courtesy of BetOnline.

Copenhagen Flames are priced as huge betting favourites for this match, which is reasonable. Although the offered CS:GO betting odds wouldn’t make much sense if presented a few months back, they do now, mainly due to Copenhagen Flames’ form.

The Danish squad recently finished their run through Intel Extreme Masters Season XVI Fall Europe in seventh place, earning a spot at PGL Major Stockholm 2021, which is quite an achievement for a team of this calibre. They topped their group with a 5-0 record, and while Copenhagen fell against Team Vitality (0-2) and Movistar Riders (0-2), the Danes have shown that they can compete with the best.

Team Finest are solid tier-two teams, but we wouldn’t rank them much higher than that. They have struggled during the Elisa Invitational group stage, dropping games against HAVU (1-2) and Lyngby Vikings (0-2). There is no reason to believe Finest can put up a fight on Tuesday.

SKADE have met with Team Fiend five times since April 2021 and won three bouts. That includes a 16-14 victory on Overpass during Intel Extreme Masters Season XVI Fall Europe in late September.

Even though SKADE lead the head-to-head, the teams are tied at 5-5 in maps. What’s more, Team Fiend won against SKADE (16-12, 19-17) at the start of September. Given their past record, it would make far more sense to see the betting odds closer to even money.

A bet on over 2.5 maps is a great choice, but we’re siding with Team Fiend at +108. The Bulgarian squad have been mainly playing top-tier teams in recent weeks, so they should be more than ready to take down SKADE.
