Former Team Falcons Counter-Strike 2 player Mohammad “BOROS” Malhas was announced as the newest member of JiJieHao on Monday, replacing the benched Issa “ISSAA” Murad.
This will not be BOROS’s first rodeo with the Chinese organisation, as he served as a stand-in for JiJieHao in their 0-2 loss against SINNERS Esports during ESL Challenger League Season 49 Europe earlier this month.
The move ends a four-month search for a new home since BOROS left Into the Breach, where he had previously spent two months on the bench.
BOROS signed for Into the Breach in July but was let go after just over a month later, when the 20-year-old was replaced by Hristiyan “REDSTAR” Pironkov.
Since leaving ITB, BOROS has appeared in four tournaments: IESF World Esports Championship 2024, eXTREMESLAND 2024 MENA Qualifier, Dubai Police Esports Tournament: 4th Edition, and Evelone Duo Cup. However, he had not found a permanent home until now.
In an X post announcing BOROS’s arrival, JiJieHao explained the reasoning behind the move.
“After some tough moments, we’ve decided to make a change: Boros is stepping in, bringing fresh energy and potential to the lineup, while Issaa moves to the bench,” the post said.
“This shift is about making the right adjustments to help us push forward and unlock our full potential.”
We’re beyond excited to welcome @boroscs to the team!

The signing comes after a long stretch of underwhelming results for JiJieHao, who made their last major change in October with the arrivals of ISSAA, Bebu “bibu” Aadil and Aron “Aaron” Homoki.
While they did well to reach the semifinals of the eXTREMESLAND 2024 MENA Qualifier, JiJieHao finished in last place at the Intel Extreme Masters Dallas 2025 Asian Open Qualifier and 9th-12th at the BLAST Rising Asia Spring 2025 Closed Qualifier.
BOROS played his first match with his new team on Monday at the MESA Asian Masters 2025 MENA Qualifier, leading JiJieHao to a 2-0 victory against ShtrongolZ with 13-9 on Ancient and 13-5 on Anubis.
The newest arrival was the second-ranked player on the server, posting a 1.39 performance rating, behind his new teammate bibu at 1.45.
