DWG KIA are 2-1-1-1 on the tournament with a +7 round differential and nine points. FAV gaming are 2-1-0-2 with eight points following their 4-7 loss to Fnatic on Friday.

DWG KIA last met with FAV gaming back in April, during the first stage of APAC North 2021, when FAV won 7-5. The Koreans have since looked better and enter this match on a five-game winning streak, which includes two victories against GUTS Gaming (8-6) and Talon Esports (7-4).

FAV have had a few solid showing at the end of June when they took down Cloud9 (8-6), GUTS (7-4), and Talon (7-5). They have since lost three in a row against CYCLOPS athlete gaming (0-2, 3-7) and Fnatic (4-7).

Although not a great record, FAV had to face two tough opponents, so they deserve some clack for their winless run. At the offered price, a bet on FAV presents some value, but we wouldn’t take the outsiders at odds lower than +110.

CLOUD9 vs T1 R6S BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

R6S Betting Odds: C9 -212.77 at BetOnline | T1 +153 at BetOnline

Cloud9 won four of their last five meetings with T1 (7-3, 7-1, 7-5, 7-2), but they lost their most recent outing on Saturday with 4-7. While that result could be viewed as a fluke, it wasn’t Cloud9’s first iffy showing of the week.

Just a day prior, Cloud9 lost to GUTS Gaming (4-7) and struggled to impress against 5PM supremacy (7-4) and DWG KIA (7-5). T1’s victory against C9 marked their first after a seven-game losing streak.

Although a terrible record on paper, that run included close series against CYCLOPS athlete gaming (5-7) and Talon Esports (6-8). Cloud9 are a better team, but they seem to be struggling with their form, whereas T1 are on an upwards trajectory.

It’s also worth mentioning that Cloud9 are playing with their coach Hyeon “OniChan” Park, who had to replace Sihun “Nova” Lee. That is obviously not optimal and is an additional reason why we like the outsiders better.

FNATIC vs GUTS GAMING R6S BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

R6S Betting Odds: Fnatic -166.67 at BetOnline | GUTS +122 at BetOnline

Fnatic are 3-0-2-0 on the tournament with two overtime losses to Cloud9 (7-8) and CYCLOPS athlete gaming (6-8). On the other side, GUTS Gaming are 2-0-1-2 with losses against FAV (4-7), Talon Esports (4-7), and DWG KIA.

Fnatic are a much stronger team and should be considered as a heavy favourite to win on Wednesday. Even though Fnatic are 0-2 against GUTS in the head-to-head, those losses happened way back in April when GUTS won with 7-5 and 7-4.

GUTS have since parted ways with veteran Yasuhi “CrazyPapiyoN” Nakajo, who announced retirement at the end of May and replaced him with Tsukasa “Merieux” Asano, who has been retired from competitive R6S since November 2020. Unless Merieux shows his old form from late 2018, GUTS Gaming will struggle to defeat Fnatic.
