SK Gaming have added SlowQ to their League of Legends roster as they look to improve on an eighth-place finish in LEC Spring.

SK Gaming have announced the signing of mid laner Seo “SlowQ” Ye-bit, who joins the European League of Legends team for the LoL EMEA Championship summer split.
The 22-year-old will take over for Adam “LIDER” Ilyasov, who was benched from the active lineup in late June following SK’s disappointing performances this season.
By joining SK Gaming, SlowQ will make his first appearance in the European top flight after the Swedish-Korean mid laner showed promise competing in Europe’s lower divisions.
SlowQ started his professional career in 2021 with Riddle Esports and has since competed for Zero Tenacity, Karmine Corp Blue, and Misa Esports in the EMEA Regional Leagues.
In the ERLs, SlowQ emerged as a promising player, having won titles across numerous leagues, including two Ligue Française de League of Legends and Turkish Championship League titles, as well as EMEA Masters 2025 Summer.
Despite his success with Misa Esports earlier this season, the Turkish team missed out on the Esports World Cup EMEA Qualifiers and decided to part ways with most of their roster, including the mid laner.
After his exit from Misa, SlowQ was approached by SK Gaming to help them in the EWC qualifiers, where the 22-year-old proved he has the talent to compete at the highest level, despite SK’s ninth-12th-place finish.
With SlowQ’s arrival, LIDER’s stint with SK Gaming has come to an end.
The 26-year-old veteran returned to the LEC at the start of the year as part of a major roster rebuild around Mihael “Mikyx” Mehle. However, the Norwegian failed to prove himself, despite the high expectations placed on the experienced roster.
With LIDER out and SlowQ in, SK Gaming will enter LEC Summer with a slightly changed roster, hoping to improve on their eighth-place finish in LEC Spring.
SlowQ is expected to make his official debut in the second week of LEC Summer, on August 1, when SK Gaming take on GIANTX.
