The best LoL bookmakers have Kiwoom DRX priced as clear favourites to defeat DN SOOPers, and that does not look wrong. While the two teams are not miles apart in the standings, with four and one wins respectively, KRX have been playing much better recently.
After a rough stretch, Kiwoom DRX have started drafting stronger early-game compositions, helping them avoid falling too far behind and giving them a better chance to stay competitive through the mid game.
That adjustment has allowed KRX to remain competitive through a difficult run, taking maps off Hanwha Life Esports, KT Rolster, Gen.G, and T1. A deep playoff run might not be on the cards this split, but Kiwoom DRX have become one of the better-performing teams in the league outside of the top five.
DN SOOPers are on the other end of the scale. They are 1-13, stuck on a 13-game losing streak, and have posted a 0-26 map record since their victory over KRX in the opening week.
There is very little reason to believe DN SOOPers can suddenly turn things around here. Kiwoom DRX are improving, have shown much more structure, and should be able to close this series in straight maps.

KT Rolster will clash with Gen.G for the second time this split, looking to secure another head-to-head victory in LCK Rounds 1-2. KT won the first meeting 2-1 back in Week 1, but plenty has changed since then.
KT are still sitting comfortably with a 12-3 record, but their recent performances have exposed some cracks. The biggest concern is their volatility, especially in the early game, where their level can swing wildly from series to series.
Against Hanwha Life Esports last week, KT produced some of their best early-game performances of the split. Then, against Nongshim RedForce, they looked like an entirely different team and were far less convincing.
Gen.G, on the other hand, have been ramping up and slowly moving closer to their best form. They look much more stable than they did earlier in the split and are doing a better job of punishing teams who give them openings.
KT Rolster still have a high ceiling, but their weaknesses are clear enough for a team like Gen.G to exploit. Given Gen.G’s current form and KT’s inconsistency, the favourites are worth backing on the map handicap.
