Call of Duty League 2026 Stage 2 Major Qualifiers slowly draw to a close, as eight teams prepare to clash on Saturday, March 21, in the second round of Week 6.

To kick off the day, Miami Heretics will face off against the Carolina Royal Ravens, followed by a clash between FaZe Vegas and Cloud9 New York, Riyadh Falcons and OpTic Texas, before the Los Angeles Theves take on G2 Minnesota in the final game.

MIAMI HERETICS vs CAROLINA ROYAL RAVENS

The second round of CDL 2026 Major 2 Qualifiers Week 6 kicks off with a clash between the shaky Carolina Royal Ravens and the surging Miami Heretics. According to the odds on the top CoD bookmakers, Miami Heretics are given a 65.4% implied probability of winning, which sounds fair.

Miami Heretics have been one of the most consistent teams of Stage 2, winning six out of nine games played. Besides the one loss to Toronto KOI in Week 3, they’ve not suffered any bad beats but have produced many impressive victories. That includes the two 3-0 sweeps of Riyadh Falcons and Vancouver Surge last week.

Carolina Royal Ravens have been far less impressive and haven’t looked great in any of the game modes. While they seem to do fine against mid-table teams, the Royal Ravens have yet to step up against a tough opponent.

FAZE VEGAS vs CLOUD9 NEW YORK

FaZe Vegas are expected to dominate Cloud9 New York on Saturday, and there is nothing to suggest otherwise. Even though FaZe have not looked as good as expected, they stepped up in the final game of Week 5, when they crushed the Carolina Royal Ravens. Cloud9 New York should be a much easier opponent.

Cloud9 New York have produced two wins in Stage 2, which includes a 3-2 victory against Toronto KOI last week. It was C9NY’s best game so far, but it also had to do with KOI not playing well.

Cloud9 New York have a lower win rate across Hardpoint (10.5% vs 58.4%), Search & Destroy (10.5% vs 52.9%), and Overload (9.1% vs 58.3%), and have a shallow map pool. Anything less than a 3-0 sweep for FaZe will be a disappointment.

RIYADH FALCONS vs OPTIC TEXAS

OpTic Texas are 9-0 and guaranteed a top six finish in the Major 2 qualifiers. They do not need to win this match, which is worth noting, as OpTic are likely going to try and play some of their weaker maps in preparation for the Major.

This should give Riyadh Falcons a fighting chance, but not enough for them to upset the league’s hottest team. The Falcons have been holding on well and have won two of the last three games, with one loss to the high-flying Miami Heretics.

Riyadh Falcons have the players and the map pool to challenge OpTic, but unless OpTic take their foot off the gas, it is unlikely for the outsiders to win more than a map.

LOS ANGELES THIEVES vs G2 MINNESOTA

G2 Minnesota and Los Angeles Thieves are tied at 5-4, having both ended Week 5 with a 1-1 record. G2 bested Boston Breach and lost to Carolina Royal Ravens, while the Los Angeles Thieves defeated Cloud9 New York and lost against the Riyadh Falcons.

Win rate-wise, the two teams are not that far apart. Los Angeles Thieves are slightly better on Hardpoint (59.1% vs 57.9%) and Search & Destroy (54.4% vs 52.4%), but notably more efficient on Overload (64.3% vs 54.5%). Yet they do not fare as well on Den and have yet to figure out Blackheart.

G2 Minnesota have the tools to make the game hard on the LA Thieves, but their shallow map pool on Search & Destroy could be the deciding factor securing LA Thieves the win.
