The second week of Call of Duty League (CDL) 2026 Stage 2 Major Qualifiers continues with the second round of action on Saturday, February 21.

Toronto Los Angeles Thieves will clash with G2 Minnesota, followed by Paris Gentle Mates taking on Carolina Royal Ravens, and to round out the day, OpTic Texas will aim to keep their win streak alive against the dangerous Miami Heretics.

LOS ANGELES THIEVES vs BOSTON BREACH

Los Angeles Thieves kicked off CDL 2026 Stage 2 with two wins against the Vancouver Surge and Carolina Royal Ravens.

Boston Breach started the stage with a 0-3 loss to OpTic Texas but bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Riyadh Falcons.

Boston Breach and LA Thieves met in the final week of Major 1 qualifiers, when Los Angeles Thieves won 3-2. The rematch is expected to be even more one-sided, with the top CoD bookmakers pricing LAT at -714.29.

This does not sound too wrong, given the Los Angeles Thieves’ improvement over the last couple of weeks. And with no clear weaknesses for Boston Breach to exploit, a comfortable victory for the favorites is likely on the cards.

PARIS GENTLE MATES vs CAROLINA ROYAL RAVENS

The Carolina Royal Ravens are a bit of an enigma. They haven’t looked great this season, with some concerning losses, but the Royal Ravens also showed high highs – beating LA Thieves and OpTic Texas towards the end of Major 1 qualifiers.

Paris Gentle Mates, on the other hand, have been much more consistent. They won the first online stage and Major 1 and added two wins in the opening week of CDL Stage 2 Major Qualifiers.

With just one loss in their last nine outings, Paris Gentle Mates are on a roll, and despite facing a team who have shown the ability to upset, Royal Ravens have little to no win conditions here.

Paris Gentle Mates are significantly better on Hardpoint and Search & Destroy, and only marginally on Overload (71.4% vs 62.5%). But even that number is skewed due to Royal Ravens’ 100% win rate on Scar (1-0), where Paris Gentle Mates (4-3) are not too bad.

OPTIC TEXAS vs MIAMI HERETICS

OpTic Texas are -277.78 favorites to defeat Miami Heretics, which sounds too pricey. Miami Heretics looked excellent last week, when they swept FaZe Vegas. While their second match ended in a 1-3 loss against Paris Gentle Mates, Miami Heretics held on surprisingly well.

They picked up Raid – Search & Destroy 6-4, and narrowly lost Scar – Hardpoint with 224-250 and Scar – Overload with 1-2. The final Hardpoint was not close, ending in 250-172 for Gentle Mates.

OpTic Texas, on the other hand, bested Boston Breach 3-0 and G2 Minnesota with 3-2.

On paper, OpTic appear stronger, but looking at the map pool, Miami Heretics are in a fine spot. OpTic will not want to play Blackheart, and Heretics will likely remove Colossus. This leaves mostly AR maps open, and Miami’s AR players have been playing well of late.

Even though this is OpTic’s game to lose, Miami Heretics have the tools to upset.
