The League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) Cup 2026 Playoffs continue on Thursday, February 19, with a lower-bracket clash between DRX and DN SOOPers, who last met in the second week of group play.
According to the best LoL betting sites, DRX are favored to take down SOOPers and get their revenge for the 1-2 loss from one month ago. Considering their most recent performances, Son “ucal” Woo-hyeon and his crew deserve respect.
In the first round of the knockout stage, DRX pushed Dplus KIA to their limits, forcing a five-map series. While it was a chaotic game, DRX performed surprisingly well, with good decision-making and solid drafting.
The fifth and final map was very close, but it slipped between DRX’s fingers after a rough fight at the third dragon, allowing Dplus KIA to run away with a lead.
Admittedly, Dplus KIA looked sloppy, but DRX showed strong macro, which allowed them to stay close despite lacking individual talent. If they continue playing like that, this roster will have a lot of potential, but they need to improve the early game.
With a -886 gold difference at 15 minutes, DRX rank as the worst LoL esports team in the LCK Cup. But they are not that far off DN SOOPers, who are second-last with -405 GD@15.
Like DRX, DN SOOPers lost their upper bracket clash on map five, against BNK FEARX. Despite the loss, they showed great things.
Hong “Pyosik” Chang-hyeon and his men dominated the first map and arguably would’ve won the second, had Jeon “Raptor” Eo-jin not gotten fed. Game three ended in BNK FEARX’s favor without many issues, while SOOPers responded with a strong showing on map four to force Silver Scrapes.
The final map was chaotic. Despite securing a very strong draft, DN SOOPers did not play around their strengths, and they bungled a late-game ending attempt.
DN SOOPers have been improving since late group stage, but like DRX, they struggle early.
Often, DNS main carries fall behind too much before the mid-game and have to fight from behind. This, however, should not be as big a concern against another team known for their poor starts.
While DRX and DN SOOPers share their main weakness, DRX have proven to be a much smarter squad, with better mid-late game. This alone makes them a more appealing bet at the offered odds.
