100 Thieves CS2 roster to debut at Roman Imperium Cup V

100 Thieves are one of 16 Counter-Strike 2 teams to be invited to the upcoming Roman Imperium Cup V, where the newly formed squad will make their official debut.

100 Thieves announced their return to the CS scene in November 2025, with the arrival of Håvard “rain” Nygaard as a new in-game leader.

Over the next two months, 100T completed their roster, signing Alex “poiii” Nyholm Sundgren, William “sirah” Kjærsgaard, André “Ag1l” Gil, Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz, and Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander as a coach.

Since finalizing the team on January 6, 100 Thieves have yet to feature in a single tournament, thus have yet to start on their Valve Regional Standings (VRS) ranking. As a result, 100T were not invited to any of the early-season events and have not yet had a chance to enter the arena.

This is about to change later this month, as 100 Thieves were announced as one of 16 teams to attend the Roman Imperium Cup V, scheduled to kick off on February 19.

For the Portuguese event, the teams were divided into four GSL groups of four. All opening matches will be best-of-one, and the remaining matches will be best-of-three to determine eight squads that will proceed to the playoffs.

The playoffs are single-elimination with all games played as best-of-three, including the grand finals, where the top two teams will clash for the lion’s share of the €10,000 (≃US$12,000) prize pool.

Roman Imperium Cup V is the first official tournament for 100 Thieves, who are also confirmed to attend DraculaN Season 5 from February 24-28, in a bid to break into the VRS and work towards securing direct invites for bigger events.

The best CS2 betting sites have yet to open markets for the Roman Imperium Cup V. However, considering the quality of the teams in attendance, 100T are expected to be among the top contenders to take home the trophy.
