BNK FEARX and DN SOOPers will cross swords on Thursday, February 12, in the opening round of League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) Cup 2026 Playoffs.

The two Korean squads have already clashed in the final round of the group stage on January 29, when FEARX won 3-1.

Lee “VicLa” Dae-kwang and his crew entered that match as -344.83 favorites on the best LoL betting sites, and their price hasn’t changed much for the rematch. Yet the clash was not as one-sided as it may seem.

FEARX were very lucky to win the first map of the series. They fell behind early, fought back by stacking drakes, but were too greedy after securing Baron, before a small slip-up from SOOPers at the 34-minute mark.

The second map was more one-sided, with FEARX securing a massive 7k gold lead by 20 minutes and needing just five more to close it out.

DN SOOPers struck back on the third map with a solid draft, which allowed them to take over the game in the mid-game and get their names on the board with a sizeable 15.5k gold lead. But it was not enough to complete a comeback.

Despite putting themselves in an advantageous position on map four, SOOPers choked at the first Baron fight, giving Nam “Diable” Dae-geun a few kills and allowing FEARX to run away with it.

Despite the 3-1 score, the game was not as one-sided. DN SOOPers should’ve won the first map, and had they not been so reckless, they would’ve picked up the fourth map as well.

Since that loss, SOOPers have beaten KT Rolster and Nongshim RedForce, the latter in a highly competitive affair that could’ve swung either way. Despite some close calls, SOOPers have been holding on well and have shown improvement since their group stage run.

BNK FEARX have looked very good this split and have the potential to emerge as one of the league’s top five LoL esports teams.

However, they are still somewhat inconsistent and prone to making errors.

FEARX appear stronger on paper but considering SOOPers’ improvement and how the last meeting ended, a closer affair is to be expected.
