G2 Esports and Karmine Corp will clash on Sunday, September 7, in the first upper bracket semifinal bout of the League of Legends EMEA Championship 2025 Summer Playoffs. The fixture promises to be a proper test for both squads, with the top LoL betting sites favoring G2 Esports to come out ahead.

Group 2 winners, G2 Esports, have produced a perfect run through the regular season. On the other side, Karmine Corp dropped one game (3-1) against Team Vitality in the penultimate week of group play.

It was one of Karmine Corp’s worst fixtures of the season and not necessarily a worrying sign. Even their 7-4 map record does not indicate weakness, as KC have only dropped maps against the capable GIANTX and the defending champions, KOI.

KC were the best team of LEC Spring up until the playoffs, when they ran into the in-form KOI. And they have not shown any signs of weakness this split.

At best, G2 Esports should be slightly favored. Karmine Corp to keep it close at even money is a no-brainer pick.
