Anyone’s Legend and FlyQuest will face off in the opening round of the Mid-Season Invitational 2025 Bracket Stage in Canada on Wednesday, July 2, and leading esports bookies are forecasting a quick sweep for the Chinese squad.

The top seeds from the LoL Pro League (LPL) are priced as -1428.57 favourites on the top League of Legends betting sites. Even though Anyone’s Legend should be favoured, this number is pushing it, giving FlyQuest just 13.3% implied probability of coming out ahead.

Anyone’s Legend are a unique squad who, unlike most other LPL teams, do not rely on the early game and instead count on their mid-late game. While their macro is not as crisp as you would expect from a team who opt for this strategy, AL have been consistently good at what they do.

FlyQuest crushed Cloud9 in the LoL Championship of The Americas (LTA) finals, ending a very solid split by securing the tag of North America’s toughest team.

A lot of their strength comes from a veteran lineup with a deep champion pool, making FlyQuest very resilient and capable of adapting their strategy. Even more important, they rarely fall behind early — although those stats include only games against regional opponents.

Even though there is a clear gap between the LPL and LTA, FlyQuest are an elite LoL esports team who are a threat to anyone. That includes Anyone’s Legend, who have not played a game in two weeks and had to travel a long distance to land in Canada.
