ATLANTA FAZE vs BOSTON BREACH CDL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: FaZe -625 at BetOnline | Breach +394 at BetOnline
When: December 8, 2023 | 15:00 EST
Watch Live: YouTube, Twitch

The Call of Duty League 2024 season officially kicks off on Friday, December 8, with a clash between Atlanta FaZe and Boston Breach. Based on the offered CoD betting odds, this should be a very one-sided game, but huge price gaps so early in the season are often exaggerated.

The teams have had a month since the release of Modern Warfare III to prepare for the season, which is hardly enough for the rosters to gel, let alone for the teams to figure out the meta. So while Atlanta FaZe – who have kept their core from 2023 intact – look stronger than Boston Breach, there is no way of telling how these teams actually stack up.

Boston Breach rebuilt their lineup in July with the addition of CoD world champions Preston “Priestahh” Greiner and Austin “SlasheR” Liddicoat, a promising young talent in Eric “Snoopy” Pérez, and former Florida Mutineers player Kenyen “Capsidal” Sutton. While not the most stacked roster in the league, the Breach have plenty of firepower.

A handicap bet on Boston isn’t a bad choice, but we’ll take our chances with the underdogs on the moneyline.

LOS ANGELES THIEVES vs SEATTLE SURGE CDL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: Thieves -151.52 at BetOnline | Surge +110 at BetOnline
When: December 8, 2023 | 16:30 EST
Watch Live: YouTube, Twitch

Los Angeles Thieves couldn’t reclaim the CDL Championship title last season, and while they have made some changes to the roster, the Thieves don’t look like serious candidates to win the first Major. Daniel “Ghosty” Rothe could be the difference-maker as a player with immense potential, but it is tough to say until we see the Thieves play.

Seattle Surge had a solid run through the 2023 CDL season, ending the year with a fourth-place finish at the CDL Championship. However, Seattle hit the reset button in October, signing an all-new roster with Jordan “Abuzah” François, Alec “Arcitys” Sanderson, Cuyler “Huke” Garland, and Indervir “iLLeY” Dhaliwal.

There is not enough difference in the quality of the two rosters to pick a side on pure merit, so we will gladly take Seattle Surge at plus money with the top CoD betting sites.

OPTIC TEXAS vs NEW YORK SUBLINERS CDL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: OpTic +100 at BetOnline | Subliners -138.89 at BetOnline
When: December 8, 2023 | 18:00 EST
Watch Live: YouTube, Twitch

OpTic Texas enter the CDL 2024 season priced as +400 underdogs with BetOnline to qualify for the first Major as the number one seed. While they have to make it past New York Subliners, Toronto Ultra and Atlanta FaZe, OpTic don’t appear to be a weak team.

Unlike most other CoD esports teams, OpTic only replaced half of their roster after last season, adding 2022 CDL Championship MVP Kenneth “Kenny” Williams and Amer “Pred” Zulbeari. While there are some questions about how the synergy will work in this roster, OpTic look very competitive.

The reigning champion New York Subliners enter the 2024 season with just one new player: Daunte “Sib” Gray, who replaces Preston “Priestahh” Greiner. The change looks like a decent move, so we can expect the Subliners to be in the race for another CDL trophy.

This is a crucial match for both squads, and from afar it looks like anyone’s game. Talent-wise, these teams match up well, and these meetings usually end in dominant wins for one or the other side, so we’re taking the unders on total maps.
