FUNPLUS PHOENIX vs DWG KIA LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

DWG KIA won their first meeting with FunPlus Phoenix on Monday with relative ease; however, the game could have easily ended differently had FPX not gave up as much in the early game. It was surprising seeing FPX fall behind, considering they’re one of the best early-game teams in the world, but at this level of play, small mistakes can quickly snowball.

Given their recent success against FPX, it makes sense for DWG KIA to be priced as the favourites to claim their second head-to-head victory. What’s more, FPX had a somewhat iffy showing against Cloud9 on Tuesday, although it’s not like DWG KIA played much better against Rogue on the day.

DWG KIA were the better team last time out, and we wouldn’t be surprised if they win again, but we wouldn’t bet on them at the offered LoL betting odds. These are two of the best teams at the tournament, and while one will eventually come out ahead, it’s fair to say that it won’t be a lopsided affair. Take the overs on the total match time.

ROGUE vs CLOUD9 LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

LoL Betting Odds: Rogue -175.44 at BetOnline | C9 +128 at BetOnline

Rogue won their first meeting with Cloud9 on Monday very convincingly. That fixture was a perfect example of how a match between teams of similar quality can look one-sided simply because one side is far less mistake-prone.

And it’s not like Cloud9 had an off-day, but they’re generally far more likely to make questionable calls in the mid-late game. Unfortunately for the North American representatives, Rogue excel in taking advantage of such situations.

We’re confident that the LoL European Championship (LEC) third seed will win this bout, but we wouldn’t bet on them with a kill handicap. Rogue rarely win with a high kill margin – unless their opponents let them – and since this is an EU vs NA derby, it’s unlikely C9 will want to risk too much.

FUNPLUS PHOENIX vs CLOUD9 LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

LoL Betting Odds: FPX -454.55 at BetOnline | C9 +300 at BetOnline

Cloud9 nearly won against FunPlus Phoenix on Tuesday, when they fell short in the intense base race. Regardless of how the match ended, C9 showed a lot of quality and even had their chances to close out the game sooner.

That brings us to the main issue with Cloud9: they don’t know how to close out games. Unfortunately, that’s an issue that can’t get fixed overnight, and a very concerning trait that will significantly harm their chances to cause an upset.

FPX should win on Friday, but they have yet to show their final form this tournament, which is why we’re sceptical about their chances to stomp Cloud9. Their last meeting lasted for nearly 37 minutes, so we’re happy to get -120.48 on the total time to run over the half-hour mark.
