Another big week of esports kicks off on November 25, 2024, with Dota 2 taking the spotlight.
The inaugural Dota 2 BLAST Slam event will kick off on Tuesday, November 26, with 10 of the best teams competing in the six-day tournament in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Meanwhile, the Perfect World Shanghai Major will begin on Saturday, November 30, with the opening stage marking the start of the two-week-long event.

Dota 2 BLAST Slam I
Danish esports event organiser BLAST will host their maiden Dota 2 tournament this week as the BLAST Slam series begins on Tuesday.
With 10 of the world’s best Dota 2 organisations taking their place in the US$1,000,000 event, it is expected to garner a lot of attention throughout.
The group stage will be held on the opening day before the playoffs begin on November 27 and run through December 1 when the grand final concludes the tournament.
Best esports betting sites have marked Team Falcons as the +200 favourite to take out the BLAST Slam I title. Team Liquid (+450), BetBoom Team (+600), Team Spirit (+700), and Gaimin Gladiators (+800) round out the other contenders.

Perfect World Shanghai Major
Following the conclusion of the final Regional Major Ranking (RMR) events, the Perfect World Shanghai Major is scheduled to start on November 30.
Of the 24 Counter-Strike 2 squads that qualified for the Major, eight will earn automatic entry into the elimination stage, while the other 16 will begin their campaign in the opening stage on Saturday.
The Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre and Shanghai Oriental Sports Centre are expected to be packed full of Counter-Strike fans throughout the event.
