A massive week of esports kicks off on Monday, June 2, 2025, with Counter-Strike 2 taking the spotlight in Austin, Texas.

The first Counter-Strike 2 Major of 2025 is scheduled to kick off on Tuesday, June 3 and run through June 22, with 32 teams vying for a share of the massive US$1.5 million prize pool at the BLAST.tv Austin Major.

In Toronto, Canada, the second VALORANT Masters event of 2025 will kick off on Saturday, June 7 and run through June 22.

Meanwhile, the final matches of the LEC Spring 2025 and the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational qualifier for LCK teams will take place throughout the week.

BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025

The BLAST.tv Austin Major will run from June 3-22, with 32 of the world’s best CS2 teams set to compete for a massive US$1.25 million prize pool, with a first-place prize of US$500,000 up for grabs for the champion.

Stage 1 will be the first to commence on Tuesday, with 16 squads playing off for eight spots in Stage 2 of the Major.

The second and most important Masters event of the 2025 VALORANT season will be held in Toronto, where the best 12 teams will compete for the US$1 million prize pool and valuable VCT Points.

VALORANT Masters Toronto will be the last chance for squads to earn VCT Points to qualify for VALORANT Champions 2025 in Paris, making it the most important Masters tournament of the year.

Gen.G and Hanwha Life Esports finished as the top two seeds in Rounds 1-2, so they earned automatic qualification to Round Three of the LCK Road to MSI, and the winner of their clash will claim the first spot at MSI 2025.

Meanwhile, Dplus KIA, KT Rolster, Nongshim Redforce and T1 will compete in a single-elimination bracket for the second MSI spot, with the last fixture of the bracket to be against the loser of the Gen.G vs HLE match.

LEC Spring 2025

The League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) Spring split will conclude this week, with the final three series scheduled for Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday.

Following their win over KOI in the upper bracket final, G2 Esports await their opponent in the grand final, with Fnatic and Karmine Corp set to clash on Tuesday for the chance to face KOI on Saturday for the second spot in the grand final.

The two finalists will earn qualification for LoL MSI 2025 and the League of Legends Esports World Cup, which makes these final few games very important for these four squads.
