Another big week of esports kicks off on August 19, 2024, with VALORANT maintaining centre stage.

VALORANT Champions 2024 will continue this week, with the final three series of the playoffs taking place on the weekend inside the INSPIRE Arena in South Korea.

Meanwhile, the remaining Esports World Cup tournaments will feature during the week in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with PUBG and Rocket League headlining the action.

With just four teams remaining at VALORANT Champions 2024, EDward Gaming and Leviatan will battle for the first spot in the grand final, while Sentinels and Team Heretics will clash, with the winner taking on the loser of the first series.

EDward Gaming and Leviatan locked in a double chance thanks to an outstanding upper bracket run and they head into the final weekend of the tournament as the favourites to take home the Champions 2024 title.

PUBG Esports World Cup

The PUBG Esports World Cup will kick off on August 21 and run through August 25, with the world’s best 24 PUBG teams taking their place in the US$2 million event.
