Another huge week of esports kicks off on April 22, 2024, with Counter-Strike 2 taking the focus of the esports world.

The 19th season of the ESL Pro League will begin on April 23 in Saint Julian’s, Malta, with action from Group A kicking off the three-week-long event.

Meanwhile, the ESL One Birmingham tournament will kick off on April 22, with the world’s best Dota 2 teams congregating in Birmingham, England, for the week.


  • CS2 ESL Pro League Season 19

    The first season of the ESL Pro League for 2024 will be Season 19, with 32 of the best Counter-Strike 2 teams taking their place in the US$750,000 tournament.

    As there will be 16 squads that are ranked inside the top 20 in the world, it is expected that the competition will be fierce throughout the event.

    Esports betting sites have recent IEM Chengdu champions FaZe Clan marked as the favourites at +250 to claim the ESL Pro League title, closely followed by Team Vitality and Natus Vincere, who are both rated a +300 chance.

  • Dota 2 ESL One Birmingham

    ESL One Birmingham will begin on Monday as 12 Dota 2 teams take their place in the US$1,000,000 event over the next seven days.

    With the group stage scheduled to run from April 22–24, the playoffs will begin on April 25, culminating with the grand final on Sunday, April 28.

    Team Falcons have been installed as favourites for ESL One Birmingham at +275, closely followed by Xtreme Gaming at +300. Team Spirit and Gaimin Gladiators are on the next line of betting, locked together at +650.
